Rocket Mass Heater Build

In this one day workshop you will learn how to build a Rocket Mass Heater. Learn about the principals behind creating these high temperature, beautiful, and efficient wood burning stoves.

 

This hands on class is located at Spiritwood Natural Building, in Victor Montana. Attendees will join Katherine and Daniel Ray of Spiritwood Natural Building to build a rocket mass heater in an existing earthen sauna.

 

This class will demonstrate the materials and tools needed to build your own stove. Participants will gain hands on experience building a miniature batch box rocket mass heater. A tour is included of several naturally built structures and three other rocket mass heaters (J style and Batch).

Food is not provided. Participants should bring a lunch to this workshop.
