Rocket Mass Heaters
SpiritWood Natural Building offers to consult or build Rocket Mass Heaters (RMH). RMH are highly efficient stoves similar to Masonry heaters that burn at extremely high temperatures and have exceptionally low emission rates. These wonderful stoves burn less fuel, for less time, giving off less emissions and saving home owners hundreds of dollars each year in savings.
We offer both J-style and Batch box heaters. Materials for a batch rocket costs approximately $1,200 and the total in labor depends on the build itself. Check out some of our builds below and contact us for a quote.
J-Style RMH
6" and 8" J style RMH that can heat a space very quickly. Can be built with or without a bench depending on the space and needs.
6" Batch Box RMH
Suitable for a small home this stove is a powerful heater. Let your imagination run wild for the design!
8" Batch Box RMH
The big one. This 8" diameter batch box heats over two yards of mass in the form of a double bench. This is suitable for houses that need a lot of heat!
